Our Winters

Winter is not so bad for those who have a parking place or stay home, because the biggest drawbacks of this season are the storms of snow, so we must suffer the delays in transportation, icy roads and swept away by high winds, huge snowdrifts that confuse us and the worst is ice. Once all this happened, we discover beautiful landscapes and we go out snowboarding, skiing and snowshoes walking. Some people prefer the south during this season, personally, I like winter and it would fail me if I would live more in the south.

Charlie did the comments on this small diaporama of our winters

The woodpecker

Le pic bois
HELLO !
I walked in the park with Charlie, there was nobody! The snow was too hard for skiing or snowshoeing.
So I walked the whole trail on this beautiful white crust without recess. I took some pictures, and this little video.
Listen carefully to the silence of the wind and the noise of the woodpecker in the woods.

On this video, I say ...........
" This is a photo, I meant a video of my park, when I am walkin with my little dog Charlie.
If you listen carefully, you will hear the woodpecker"

CHARLIE

My little dog, Charlie, is a 4 years bichon/chi tsu.
He's small in size but has a huge heart.
We're in love with this little hair ball ....

Little pee on waking up, when going out to pick the newspaper.
Around 9 o'clock, when weather is nice, we're going for a long walk at the parc.We detach the dog to let him wander around. He loves running in the morning dew and rolling in the still wet grass, so that he will be covered of green spots. He also likes doing car rides with us. We have installed cushions so he could see outside when we are rolling.

He does not bark except when our childrens come to visit us, then he barks some sounds of extreme excitement and he moves his tail so hard that he tappe himself on the ears.
We adopted this dog when he was 10 months, and he was never barking. So we thought he had problems with his vocal chords, we knew some dogs were operate for not to bark. But we were reassured when we heard Charlie barking in his dreams: Small barking, very tiny, and grunts of St. Bernard, Very surprising from such a small beast..

His treats: liver and chicken breast.

Here's a little video with Charlie taken at the park....
