Boogie Woogie Piano man, Tommy Johnson

I'm coming back to this blog to update the messages, after almost 15 years elsewhere, I'm resuming my blogging activities. 15 years is a long time, many messages are no longer up to date.

My new research tells me that The Boogie Woogie Man Tommy Johnson, a character who fascinated me at the time, is no longer with us. In this month of November, traditionally dedicated to the deceased, I am resuming this post to introduce him to you again

Rest In Peaece Tommy Johnson, a super nice Boogie Man who enterained us in bewitching Boogie Woogies

Japanese bookbinding

Hello all

I'm doing a bit of archiving and classification in my home papers. I was looking for a way to link some documents and I did not want to pay. So I did a search on the Web and I have found this example bookbinding, easy to do and nothing to pay. Who has not some cardboard, some ribbon , printed paper and glue already on hand. The explanations on these video are easy to follow, hopefully that will give you ideas.

Part 1

Part 2

Part 3

This other video shows the same type of binding with a ribbon as a tether.

Have fun!

Our Winters

Winter is not so bad for those who have a parking place or stay home, because the biggest drawbacks of this season are the storms of snow, so we must suffer the delays in transportation, icy roads and swept away by high winds, huge snowdrifts that confuse us and the worst is ice. Once all this happened, we discover beautiful landscapes and we go out snowboarding, skiing and snowshoes walking. Some people prefer the south during this season, personally, I like winter and it would fail me if I would live more in the south.

Charlie did the comments on this small diaporama of our winters
